We
are equipped with safety harnesses varying in different sizes (even suitable
for children of three years old).
We also have life jackets in all sizes.
The Parasails :
We are equipped with different
size parachutes which are used according to the weather conditions. All parasails
are replaced every year.
If there is a slight wind, we shall use the large parasail. For a strong wind
we shall use a smaller one.
The parachutes are equipped with closable pressure vents (zips). These zips
allow your parasail to be used in wider range of wind speeds.
Hence, weather conditions and wind are no longer an essential factor for the
practice of this sport.
Only a very strong mistral wind can sometimes prevent practicing parasailing.
Qualifications :
We have the diploma for nautical parasailing instructor, delivered by the Ministry of youth and sports.
History of Winchboats
Winchboats , equipped
with a platform, emerged in the late 1980's as a solution to the problems
associated with conventional parasail operations often beach based. These
operations were relying on wind conditions to perform the flight effectively.
Of course, all beach based departures occupying valuable space consequently
became a drawback.
Therefore, these platforms equipped boat became the only solution as they
were able to operate in a much broader spectrum of conditions than the traditional
methods. Thus, disadvantages with regards to the space and wind conditions
were no longer a problem to take into consideration.

This commercial boat
is equipped to navigate in 4th category and propelled by a 260 horse-power
turbo diesel engine. The paracraft is built with a platform allowing for
take-offs and landings by means of an hydraulic winch.
The
speed of the boat during the flight varies according to the strength of
the wind and the size of the parachute. However the speed of the boat attained
when the parachute is not in traction can reach 45 knots. In which case
the boat can be qualified as an offshore.
